About The Chanticleer

The Chanticleer Newspaper is a student-run organization at Coastal Carolina University. The paper was founded in 1985 and has since transformed to match the digital age. Viewers can now not only read the print copy, but view all stories online and social media.

We release the print edition monthly. Release dates for the Fall 2019 semester will be available soon.

If you are interested in advertising in the print or online editions, please contact the business manager, Garrett Kalenick, at gkalenick@coastal.edu.

All enrolled CCU students, undergraduates and graduates, are welcome to join the CCU staff as reporters, photographers, videographers or social media coordinators. Get in touch with a staff member for more information. Fall 2019 staff meetings are held Mondays at 6 p.m.
