Women's Lacrosse on win streak

The Coastal Carolina women's lacrosse team traveled to Kennesaw, Ga. to play against Atlantic Sun Conference opponent Kennesaw State. During the 18-12 win, offensively, the Chanticleers had a 10 different people score to lead the way.
Megan Busch scored the first goal after she got past the KSU goalie with 27:26 left in the first half. Leading 1-0, Haley Kyger got an unassisted goal with 23:07 left in the first half. Less than two minutes later, Jordan Harrell had a free position shot and made the score 3-0 with 21:48 left.
With 14:30 left, Julia Imbo gave the Chanticleers a 4-0 lead with an unassisted shot. Two minutes later, Madeline Bromley scored, and Megan Kilpatrick scored the sixth goal of the half with 11:18 left to go in the half.
The Chanticleers were stopped offensively after the sixth goal. KSU scored back to back goals cutting the lead to 6-2 with 9:42 left in the first half.
With the assist from Kyger, Bailey O'Brien scored Coastal's seventh goal to make the score 7-2. Lyla Robinson scored a goal at the 7:30 mark to make the score 8-2.
KSU answered right back with four goals. At the 3:41 mark, the score was 8-6.
Haley Alexander closed out the first half scoring for the Chants to make the lead 9-6 with 2:19 until halftime.
And, with a Coastal score, KSU came back and was able to make the score 9-9 with 12 seconds left to go in the first half.
Sophie Crowther was the 10th Chanticleer to score a goal, and she did so with 28:54 remaining. Imbo and Busch were able to score again. Alexander scored again also making the score 13-9 with 22:09 left in the game.
Crowther and O'Brien both scored leaving the score 15-10 at the 14:49 mark.
Crowther scored with 9:44 to go to make the score 16-12. Robinson made the score 17-12, and Harrell closed out the scoring for the game at the 1:11 mark.
The Chanticleers would get a win on Sunday, April 15 at Mercer, defeating the Bears 17-7.
The Chanticleers are now 7-7 overall, and 3-1 in the ASUN.
Coastal will play Detroit Mercy on Thursday, April 19 at Brooks Stadium. First draw is scheduled for 4 p.m.
