Vice President Mike Pence to visit Coastal Carolina University

Mike Pence, the Vice President of the United States, will be coming to the campus of Coastal Carolina University on Saturday, June 23 for a campaign event for South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster.
The former Governor of Indiana, now Vice President, will be speaking to the public on Saturday on Coastal’s campus to generate support for McMaster ahead of the runoff election on Tuesday, June 26.
McMaster will be facing 39-year-old businessman John Warren in a runoff election after McMaster failed to get the 50 percent majority in the June 12 Republican Primary.
McMaster has received support from both President Donald Trump and Vice President Pence since began his presidency in January 2017. President Trump tweeted out his support for Governor McMaster ahead of the June 12 primary.
“Henry McMaster loves the people of South Carolina and was with me from the beginning,” Trump tweeted. “He is strong on Crime and Borders, great for our Military and our Vets. He is doing a fantastic job as your Governor, and has my full endorsement, a special guy. Vote on Tuesday!”
McMaster was one of the very first elected officials to show their support for Trump in the 2016 Republican Primary.
The Vice President’s event will be held at the Williams-Brice Kimbel Arena on the campus of Coastal Carolina University. Doors open at 1:30 p.m. and the event will begin at 3:00 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. To get your tickets, visit PenceinSC.com.
