Career and Majors Expo gallery

On Wednesday, Sept. 11, the Career Services Center hosted the Fall 2019 Career and Majors Expo.

The event took place in the HTC Arena and it hosted 70 different employers who each had their own informational booth. The purpose of the event was to provide students with face to face interactions with employers from various fields. Students can practice their networking skills, forge relations and learn about potential internship and job opportunities.

Students sometimes struggle to find internships while in school or even a job upon graduation. This event aims to help those students by providing easy, on-campus access to employers within the area. The Career Services Center only holds this event once each semester, so it is important for students to be on the look out for the next one if they could not make it to the most recent. They are also encouraged to ask questions and seek additional help regarding their career interests by visiting the faculty and staff in the Center for Career Services. It is located in LIb Jackson Student Union A-203.
