Best comfort meals to make in your dorm
It is officially fall, which means cold weather is upon us. It is time to dive into the best comfort meals you can make right from your dorm room!
1. Naan bread pizza
Pizza is a great comfort food and is a pretty neutral meal. You can either dress it up or leave it plain. The best part is you only need three ingredients for naan bread pizza, and those are:
Naan bread
Pizza sauce
Shredded cheese
To make this, place your naan bread on a microwave-safe plate, smear your pizza sauce on top and then sprinkle some shredded cheese. Put it in the microwave for 30-second intervals until the cheese is melted. This just makes a basic cheese pizza, but you can add any topping as long as it is cooked or can be eaten raw.
2. Mug turkey bacon mac n cheese

Mac 'n cheese is a staple comfort food that just goes perfectly with fall weather. My favorite way to make a dorm version of mac n cheese is to add some turkey bacon. The ingredients are:
Macaroni noodles
Turkey bacon
Milk
Shredded cheese
Salt and pepper, to taste
To make this, put your raw noodles in a mug, fill and cover the noodles with water, sprinkle in salt, and set on a microwave-safe plate. Microwave for ten minutes (but take it out halfway to check it).
Once the noodles are cooked, drain the leftover water and add in however much cheese you want, and one tbsp of milk (you can add more milk depending on how melted you want your cheese to be). Microwave in 30-second intervals until cheese is melted, and add pepper to taste, then set aside to cool.
Lastly, put your turkey bacon on a microwave-safe plate and microwave in 30-second intervals until cooked. Once it cools, rip off however many pieces you want and mix it into your mug.
3. Baked potato
Yes, you can cook a potato in a microwave and it still tastes good! All you need is:
1 russet potato
Butter
Sour cream
Shredded cheese
Turkey bacon (optional- look at the above recipe on how to cook)
Salt and pepper, to taste
To make this, wash, dry, and use a fork to poke a variety of holes in your potato. Put the potato in a microwave-safe bowl, cook for five minutes, then take it out, flip and cook for another five minutes. Once it is cooked, add your butter, salt, pepper, sour cream, cheese and turkey bacon.
