Best podcasts to listen to
Over the past couple of years, podcasts have been taking off. If you are looking for a podcast to dive into, here are some to get you started.
Crime Junkie

Crime Junkie is co-hosted by Indiana natives Ashley Flowers and Brit Prawat. Flowers and Prawat started Crime Junkie in December of 2017 as a way to shine a light on true-crime cases that were not well-known. Crime Junkie is also known for going through cases of minorities since they are not taken as seriously as other cases.
The podcast episodes vary from missing cases, serial killers, infamous and even some conspiracy episodes, but Flowers and Prawat do much more than Crime Junkie. The podcast series has raised over $600,000 for charity. Flowers and Prawat also donate money to help uncover new genealogical testing for evidence since there is a ton of new technology, and they also help some of the families that they talk to in their episodes.
Spittin Chiclets
Now, I am not much of a hockey fan, but Spittin Chiclets is a great podcast to listen to if you are and it honestly makes me appreciate the sport a lot more. Spittin Chiclets is a Barstool Sports podcast co-hosted by Ryan Whitney, who created the vodka Pink Whitney, and Paul Bissonnette, also known as Biz Nasty, who is a retired NHL hockey player and Rear Admiral. Spittin Chiclets tackles all things hockey in a hilariously unfiltered way and interviews people in the world of hockey.
Office Ladies
If you’re a fan of The Office, then Office Ladies is for you. Co-hosted by Jenna Fischer, who played Pam Beesly on The Office, and Angela Kinsey, who played Angela Martin, these two ladies bring you behind-the-scenes of every Office episode to give you the inside scoop to filming. It is a very interesting podcast to listen to if you are a fan of the show and interested in the behind-the-scenes action. Office Ladies also brings in some guests from the show including Rainn Wilson, who played Dwight Schrute, BJ Novak, who played Ryan Howard and was also a writer on the show, among many more!
The Joe Rogan Experience
The Joe Rogan Experience is loved by many and is one of the biggest podcasts to listen to. Hosted by Joe Rogan, he interviews a ton of people who are going crazy in the media and talks about a lot of controversial issues and unconventional topics. He covers everything from conspiracy theories to Kanye West’s crazy election campaign, but in the most entertaining way. If you are new to podcasts and are looking to listen to something both educational and entertaining, start off with The Joe Rogan Experience.
The Big Picture
If you love film, this is the podcast for you. The Big Picture is hosted by The Ringer’s, Sean Fennessey, where he interviews filmmakers and goes in-depth about the behind-the-scenes process of creating and filming a movie. Fennessey has interviewed big people in the Hollywood film industry such as Jordan Peele, Michael Bay and many more.
